Delivering Clean Energy Solutions (DCES)

DCES built on past bulk buy programs run by NAGA members to support residents from across the NAGA region in their purchase of solar hot water, solar photo-voltaic panels and electric bikes.

The project (2010-12) was funded by a grant from the Sustainability Fund, led by Manningham City Council on behalf of NAGA and its members, and delivered a cross-council working group with project management by the Moreland Energy Foundation.

In addition to the 'bulk buy' elements, the DCES program developed resources focused on a social marketing and communications plan, a business plan to assess long-term viability and a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation plan.
