The Adaptive Capacity Checklist has been developed by WAGA through How Well Are We Adapting - a network of councils in Victoria who are committed to action and advocacy to assist their communities respond to climate change. How Well Are We Adapting?

How Well Are We Adapting is:

• A web-based climate change adaptation monitoring, evaluation and reporting tool for Victorian local governments
• A network of Councils who have formed a Community of Practice around using this tool, and climate adaptation work more generally.
  
  

The councils who are subscribed to How Well Are We Adapting, including a number of NAGA councils, are using this tool to raise awareness of local climate change impacts and how to address them. It also helps local government staff track the impacts on council services and assets and evaluate responses over the long term to understand how well they are adapting to climate change.
