Research

NAGA collaborates with Universities and their students to carry out initial research that inform future projects with our members

Past research by University students includes:

  • The role of local government in energy retailing
  • Lessons from New Zealand and the UK on mandatory minimum energy efficiency standards for the private rental sector
Former NAGA Executive Officer, David Meiklejohn, has also completed a Ph.D on how local governments have responded to climate change, with a focus on how they have used community engagement.

You can read more about it here.
